What is Assisted Living vs. Retirement Living?
Find out why Friendship Hill might be the perfect fit.
When it comes to looking for a new place to live for those who don't want the hassle of a house anymore, all the options can be confusing. We're here to help explain the differences and tell you where Friendship Hill fits in.
What is Assisted Living?
Assisted living cares for elderly or disabled people who need some nursing help and residential services, like housekeeping and cooking, but also allows for some independent living.
Why Assisted Living Costs More?
Because Friendship Hill does not offer nursing services, we are the perfect solution for seniors who don't require a lot of nursing care. At assisted living facilities, residents are paying more because of the nursing services available.
Friendship Hill is affordable because we offer a peaceful, safe, and secure solution with the help seniors want nearby but without expensive health care services.
Why Retirement Living is Right for You.
Friendship Hill is the perfect home for independent seniors. We offer private retirement living that allows residents to come and go as they please, enjoy the safety and security of having help nearby and no house maintenance, while also allowing our seniors to enjoy their free time by taking care of the cooking and cleaning.
We offer emergency buttons for extra peace of mind but do not manage medications or provide nursing services as assisted living facilities do. However, outside nursing and therapy services are welcome to come in to serve residents at Friendship Hill.
